The objective of this training is to provide the theoretical and practical knowledge to produce and record his music with Ableton Live.
Topics will include computer science, recording and mixing techniques, the integration of external instruments and vocals, the use of Live instruments and third-party plug-ins.

- How to use Live to produce a song from start to finish
- Understand and know how to use your equipment (sound card, microphone, keyboards, Push …) to be able to record audio and MIDI parts
- Know how to use Live’s tools to quickly capture ideas
- Know how to build and develop a song in arrangement
- Create a clean and efficient draft before going to the studio
Schedule
Week 1 :
Day 1 : Presentation of Live, handling of the Session window. Using audio / MIDI tracks.
Day 2 : Construction of the basic elements of a song (rhythm part, bass, chords). Recording an audio part. Using MIDI controllers.
Day 3 : Development of an Intro-Verse-Chorus-Bridge in Session. Use of Control Surfaces.
Day 4 : Recording the song in Arrangement. Optimization of the structure, work on the temporal zones.
Day 5 : Automation operation, evaluation and summary of the week.
Week 2 :
Day 1 : Mixing: audio effects, spacialization of sound, temporal effects.
Day 2 : Mixing the song: dynamic effects and equalization.
Day 3 : Pre-mastering of the song.
Day 4 : Reintegrate the finalized piece in Session for a stage performance.
Day 5 : Summary and assessment of achievements.
